Hello! YES! I´m back with something NEW! O-O
Well okay actually it´s just half new... because it´s a remake.
Maybe I should start at the beginning of this story:
In fall 2009 I solved my prevocational placement in the design section of a company. There they offerd me to make something like self-made postcards so I worked on a design for them. I decided to make something about Halloween, so the sketch for this drawing developed.
I was allowed to draw the picture for the postcards with their graphics tablet which really amazed me. It was the first time I really used a graphic tablet and you could see that.
But I liked the finished picture though.
But I forgot to ask for the files and stuff so I just had the printed postcards.
That´s why I now wanted to draw this picture again! And believe me it turned out much better than the one from 2009! It´s still not perfect but I think I like it.

Overall Vision
Originality
Technique ImpactVery nice work I must say, you have brought out the halloween theme very well with this artwork. The concept is very nice; blood like candles and torn curtains in the background; you seem to have considered every aspect of the image and made it creepy; very successful technique.
Your painting technique is also very good, especially in the skull with very clear and tactful shadows done on it. You have lighted up the image very beautifully, from the flame of the candle to the glow it gives to the near surrounding objects.
Overall its a very nice piece of work with a great use of technique and concept.
